Bengall Blue Steel NOS NOS NOS :)

well this is a very long and very cool interesting story, but you willl have to wait to read it till tommorow because I have to get to bed right now. but here are the pics. Just unreal how amazing this razor is. It was bought in 1937 and put away forever, only pulled out a few times every couple years to re oil the blade. this razor looks like it just came out of the factory :) I will edit the post and tell the story tommorow. some of you may not beleive the way I was lucky enough to get this razor. and the price? well lol.....lets just say there was not much of a price :) here she is

and I just noticed now that these pictures really dont even show anything close to how mint this razor actually looks, so with that said. I am going to get a better set of shots to really try and show how beautiful this razor is! :)

That razor doesn’t look like it will provide you with much satisfaction. In fact, it looks like bad luck all around. All that oil over the years will have surely tainted that blade and will probably deliver a nasty shave. My advice is to get it out of your rotation as quickly as you can. I’ll even take it off of your hands free of charge just to ensure no harm comes to you. PM me and I’ll give you an address you can send it to. It’s a good thing we caught this early.

So now it's time for the Bengalls to be hyped? ;)

well this is something I am glad was brought up because the razor seems to have me riddled right now regarding what you said. I didn't notice this before but I just checked too see what the edge was like. To my surprize, It doesn't seem to have any sharp edge or even a bevel for that matter. I knew when I bought the razor that It had no hone wear from anyone who owned it. But I thought the factory or maker of the razor would have put somewhat of an edge on it. but it has no edge??? and when I say that I mean that it has no bevel set nor does it have any type of sharpness on the "edge that is there" I hope this is making sense lol. It's almost as if the razor was made but was made so that the customer could put his/her own edge on it.....can anyone explain what the deal is here? I know for a fact that this razor has never ever been put on any kind of hone because there is no hone markings and it has no bevel or sharp edge. and the whole blade is the same size all the way across from the toe to the heel. Please feel free to chime in if anyone has some info....thanks :)

Where is the story?

She is a beautiful razor. Put that edge on it and take it for a test drive.

Send it to me quickly for an examination. The examination will only take a few years and then you'll be set to enjoy this razor forever.
