I received (upon my request) a straight razor (a Dovo) for Christmas.
6 weeks later and I've spent the entire Sunday evening honing a growing collection including 2 Dovos (added a Flowing), 4 Wade & Butchers, 2 Torreys and a few others with another 5 en route from eBay.
What's it like to show an interest in new stuff for the non-OCD population?

funny we were just talking bout this ..lol.. i bought a bunch at first , anything that was in good shape i was going after ... i just told 10Pups my RAD has almost come to an end .. i think i bought 6-7 more in the last 2-3 days , 3 hones , another hone and 3 other razors last week ... i think i was having withdraw from not buying much since Christmas ...lolQuote:

Appear to have gained an experience point in the "reset the bevel" department - the most beat up of the bunch took a lot of circles and x strokes to get a clear cutting edge under the 10x loupe. Just shaved with it this morning...smooooooth!
