"Boots the Chemist" sounds like a horrible mashup of Dora the Explorer and Breaking Bad.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

very cool , i like my DD Dwarf's and although there not really that much shorter they do add a sense of shortness that i enjoy while shaving ... ive always tried to acquire something like that and have often thought of a short custom ...

I have made a couple of dwarfs from damaged razors, they work out quite well especially if the problem is its just toe heavy

Filled the pivot with brass & moved it up the tang a bit

Hey Tony, is that the real "creamy XXXX" stuff for scales? Very attractive. I have found that big name razors with a chip at either end, are a good way for shavers to get into a nice shorter razor. Often not hard to repair, and since it is no longer original, one might make few other adjustments to suit the owner as well. No reason us bearded fellows can't enjoy some of the nicer brands, usually only available in a razor much too large for our face, and save a few $ at the same time. I'll have to get some more pics. I have what appears to be an old full hollow W&B about 6/8"x2-3/8. that shaves like a dream, yet works fine with my beard.
    Thanks for the pics

Yes the scales are original & were split at the pivot big chip out of the toe would have been £5 on ebay (actually part of a job lot)
turned into a fully functioning razor, Cant get much greener than that:-)
