antique/thrift finds good, not sure, but education requested

So on our short trip (overnight)down and back to Alameda Ca of course I had to hit the antique and thrift stores. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. I had found a vintage U.S. Army double edge razor, I was so excited even thought I was very warn and basically just a shelf piece, but I wanted one to use in memory of my Grandfather(prior Army Ranger) so the hunt was on. Today to make a very long story short I found one in this small shop in the original case, except the handle was literally split all the way down the seam, making it unable to use unless I welded or glued etc. Anyway the handle on my shelf piece was perfect so together I had a perfect functional razor.
On to the find and request information. I found 5 other razors today, two I know well enough, one is a Gillette Fat boy and the other a slim adjustable(the shop i was in had about a half dozen adjustable slims/fatboys so i grabbed two, the other three are straights.
And the orders might be mixed up so sorry if i mess them up,

3)(IVORY LOOKING SWIRL HANDLES..NOT MY FAVORITE AND NO IDEA THE ACTUAL MATERIAL)C.W. HACKETT HARDWARE CO. ON THE BACK IT SAYS H.B &CO AND LOOKS LIKE THE BOKER TREE SYMBOL(GUESSING ON SYMBOL, IM TO NEW TO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. BLADE FACE SAYS BARBERS' OWN

Thanks for looking and any information that you can assist me with, Ill take more pictures after the initial sterilization and then some metal polish.

ive only found 3 DE's while looking for razors at antique stores , i think you did well on all of them !!

I've found so many DE's fortunately and for so darn cheap that I send them to my closest friends to get them hooked and convert them to proper shavers. Already got one of the guys I work with fully addicted went out and bought about a half dozen different razors in one day in a shop close to his home town. Plus he found two vintage brushes and a nice horse hide strop among other items. He's setting up his man cave. I guess I'm trying to pay forward the kindness shown to me on this site

Whats an Army double edge razor?

Thats a great find for sure! Here is some information about the C. W. Hackett razor. Originaly, founded in 1858 under a different name, C. D. Strong Hardware Co, in 1885, they became the Strong, Hackett Hardware Company,in 1889 it became The C. W. Hackett Hardware Company,
just like your razor, that said in 1902 its change again to Hackett Walther Gates Hardware Company.

So that makes your razor age between 1889 to 1902. Also the other markings, stands for Hermann Boker and co with the tree logo.

Just like everything else military they had standard issue razors in this case I believe its from WWII comes in a khaki colored case with the handle razor head and blades in a small steel case. Even has the original blades and they aren't rusted at all. And of course under the comb it say property U.S.ARMY. I'll take pictures and post them. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to have found the SR's and grateful for any information about each(thanks for the Biker info) as well as the adjustables but this made my year. Somehow it called me as if my grandfather told me to get it and use it in good health... Ok ill stop rambling before I get to emotional.

Not Quite! the razor is all Boker made for Hackett, like many razor makers firms made razors for hardware co and retailers etc.

As you see I have two of them, if I wasnt split down the seam on the handle and the head so badly corroded id shoot it your way. Ill be on the lookout, if I find one Ill pick it up for you. The one I found has everything including the case and original razors in the small steel box with no rust on the blades.

Pixelfixed was correct all J series are WW1 production. Great find!

I know the rules about money so I'm not asking if I got a good deal etc etc just saying for the sake of comparison. I paid under $60 for everything the Army DE the two adjustable Gilettes and the 3 SR's think the straights were $7 each I was lucky as I just liked that I found a SR with the tree in tact didn't realize it was actually a Boker my other one the tree is not fully intact anyway, numbers for giggles

P.s. thank's a ton for the continued education. As long as they are out there and I don't have one ill keep buying them till I do. And when I find doubles ill pay them forward so someone else can begin the journey/addiction

This is after just a very light touch up. If anyone could advise me how to clean up the Swedish blade without removing the arrow id appreciate it. It seems to have some sort of rust/crud whatever right in the middle of it, I want it removed but dont want to remove the color on the blade or the etching of the arrow. Thanks in advance.

You could try very few, very light strokes with high MicroMesh, but personally I wouldn't mess with it. Icings like this are easily lost, they are quite superficial.

A very nice razor by the way, these things take wonderful edges without too much trouble and make for great shavers.
