I just won a razor
Hello guys,
I just won a Frederick Reynolds on ebay for an amazing small amount of money, so I was wondering what is so wrong with this razor that none would bid for? Even if it is bad and will never shave again I am glad that I paid such a small amount for ebay experience.

Nothing jumps out at me, a little toe wear, but overall in good condition from a fine maker, Enjoy!

Yeah... Looks Pretty Good To Me....
Nice Score!

Slight S-curve and toe wear as Martin said,
not a clue from that picture as to why no one else bid on it,
but hey all the better for you :tu

Thank you all for your answers, I have another question how can the toe wear affect the razor and what is the S-curve ?

It is a plain vanilla Sheffield razor. Nothing sexy about it to stimulate multiple bidders like a W&B FBU or some gargantuan GB anchor. It will make for a good shave once honed up.

The toe wear won't affect its performance.
as far as the s curve if you look at the edge from the side profile it forms a slight S shape from the toe to the heel.
It can make it a bit more interesting to hone if you choose not to take the extra steps to correct it.
-
It's also a very narrow razor, and as such not really sought after. Combined with the fact that there is nothing special about it, as soon as one person starts bidding, the other are going to say 'meh' and find another razor to bid on.

Not a bad looking piece. Can I ask what you paid for it?
