Huge haul from the weekend antique markets
Hey all, finally got around to taking some pictures. Headed out to the antiques / flea markets in Adamstown PA (they just had their 'antiques extravaganza') and came back with a boatload of stuff. Check it out, some of the better stuff:
A Hess Hair Milk 5/8:

A Klopp 13/16 in pristine condition (couldn't argue with $10):

A Landers Frary & Clark Peerless:

A few Gillettes (an adjustable and a standard):

And about 4 other razors in less great condition. Picked up a Challenge razor in almost mint condition except for broken scales. But some of my best finds weren't razors. I was digging through a drawer waiting for a vendor to get a box, and my eye caught a weird-shaped shoe horn looking thing in faux tortoise. I picked it up out of curiosity and boredom and saw bug bites! So if I flatten it it's enough to make a replacement scale, or to be kept as is, whatever it is, but it's genuine.

And my first find of the day, but probably my most exciting:

It's just the right size for razors, is a light grey-green color, and silky smooth. I'm hoping it's a Thuringian, but won't know how it does until I can get some major scratches sanded out and test this thing out, but for $20 it was worth the risk. All in all, quite a successful day. I even picked up a nice 1930s beater trombone for cheap.
