Romo, W&B, ERN, Swastika Razor hone
Just scored this stuff today, at an antique shop.
The Romo - I haven't located any info. on this one, so if anyone has any.... The scales are in great condition, and the really cool part is it has spine work, it also seemed to have had gold plating from the tang all the way across the spine, now gone with just traces left. The jimps are unique also, the top is a diamond pattern, and the bottom is typical, I've been trying to score one with spine work for a while....
ERN - this ones pretty cool the scales have great color, and the blade is in great shape too. If anyone with experience knows the proper way to clean these scales up without losing the color, I'd like to know.....I figured soap and water, but can I use say blue magic polish?
Wade & Butcher - With a Wade & Butcher etch Celebrated Finest India steel, 7/8 and I believe this one is wedge or near wedge....
The Genco is an easy aces, I don't think the scales are original, it has three pins with one missing.
And last a Swastika Razor hone, has some chips but usable. I felt it was in decent shape, the Native American good luck symbol caught my eye. I think it will raise eyebrows for most people who are not aware of the original meaning.
