Above is a B.WINKS & sons, made in Sheffield, and Lancet steel stamped on the blade. It looks like natural scales bone or Ivory im not too sure.
The razor below say's SAUZEDDE, Montpellier With Horn scales

Neither are shave ready yet, I will hone them when I have time.

The B. Winks looks to have been part of a set, at least that's what the 1 on the spine makes me think. I really like the unique spine work. Nice score!
About the B. Winks & son razor, i see this company listed from around 1850 to 1875, they were par tof the Great Exhibition in 1851.

Like CastSteel mentioned, definately part of a set of razors for sure, the other razor i found from this company were not fancy like this one, worked spine bone or ivory scales, that is a great find!
Thanks for the reply's, I didn't realize it was so old!! I should guessed it was part of a set with the number 1 on there lol, It would of been one great looking set back in the day.
My only other question is it says Lancet steel on the blade, what is 'Lancet steel'? ie is it a better grade than normal, or treated differently?
