I just have to say Thank You for all the E-mails and PM's from many friends here at SRP showing concern for my wife and I with the fire raging in Idaho.. It really shows what a fantastic community we have built, when friends from across the entire world check on you..
BTW we are fine but thanks for asking, the fires are at the other end of the state, almost 500 miles away, but we both appreciate the fact that many of you asked :)
Holy crap! I guess this shows what happens when you don't watch the news very often... I had no idea about the fires.

Bad fire season. So much loss! We had some bad ones down here last year. It is devastating and seemingly a natural thing in some areas!
Really bad for friends and family down in Colorado, several lost their homes in the Black Forest fire :(
1300 homes evacted in sun valley and ketchum (beaver creek fire) thats some pricey real estate. have many friends that live in that local

Fires seem to be a price to pay for living near nature. We haven't had any evac orders here since the 70's which is just as well as they stuck a few hundred houses in the gulley behind us.
I'm not a news watcher either, but always good to hear good news...just why I don't watch the news much. As mentioned by the others, I too am glad all is well in your corner of the world Glen.Quote:
