Every now and our system does this also but when I use safari instead of windows explorer it works hahahaha to the establishment
I suppose you could try a proxy website.
I have a bet with my supervisor and a fellow student: we'll not use internet or our phones for a week at the university. I told my supervisor I'd bring a book, he was not amused. Also, he's addicted to his webmail, so I'm not sure who's going to be more aggravated :p
At my work the parent company has sort of a comical way of blocking sites. The Big Brother way is to show you a blank screen with one dialogue box with all the blah blah blah as to why you can't go where you think you should. The comical part is that on other sites you will actually see a fragment of the 'I see you' box somewhere on the page. I'm about as far away from IT as you can get. Metaphorically, I'm making arrowheads from obsidian, but they haven't touched SRP. Full disclosure: I never surf when there is work to do....dead time only. So I am grateful to SRP for many entertaining and informative moments in the 8:30 to 5:30 slot.
