apt?? a debian man?
It's particularly burdensome, given that what's "broken" (being fixed?) in no way lessened the functionality of the classifieds; and, given the season, it's a part of SRP that is all the more vexing, in its absence. Well, the damage is done, but the resentment will linger on... particularly poor timing, and a stunningly bad decision.
Here's what you missed in your analysis - this site doesn't exist in a vacuum and the rest of the internet keeps changing. Things that have not been a problem in the past can suddenly become a serious issue when one of the big players changes one of their policies.
No resentment here,no vexing. When it gets fixed,it gets fixed, next week, next month,I really do no give a Rats AZZ.
If so, then there's certainly room for explanation. "Brevity" might be "the soul of wit," but suddenly taking down the classifieds should have been (and can still be) accompanied by something more substantial than a vague mention of "maintenance"... and "temporarily" is like the expiration date on dairy products -- this one has passed.
This is yet another reason for returning to the tried-and-true B/S/T (Buy/Sell/Trade) format... KISS, yes? but you already knew that.
Anyone know where to find a true shave ready razor then?
One good thing about it being down is, my son might get something for Christmas this year.
Last year I spent his Christmas money on myself, ordering stuff in the classified section. :D
