Hi outback here. I'm new to the site, and quite computer illiterate. Hence my site name. All I have is a android type smart phone and would love to share with everyone. I do not care much for computers, but don't any choice. Gotta go with the times.

Hi outback here. I'm new to the site, and quite computer illiterate. Hence my site name. All I have is a android type smart phone and would love to share with everyone. I do not care much for computers, but don't any choice. Gotta go with the times.
If it's anything like mine, hit the little icon that looks like a picture frame (4th from the left) right above this box. Go to choose file then select documents and check mark the picture(s) you want to upload. Click the upload button and it will show up in this box. Say what you want and post quick reply
Ok Outback don't feel lost man I'm using the talkatal app for this forum on my android... its hard to get used too and it just recently updated again so most of what I had figured out... right out the window.. but your in a great bunch of helpful guys they've helped me more then they know
My phone is a Huawei ,pronounced wawee and just learned how to send text not even a year ago. Yeah beyond the back40. But like everything else I'll somehow figure this out. With a little help from my friends.
Normally it's pretty easy to post pics using TapaTalk, if you want to go that route. However, I haven't tried it since the most recent update.
I think I'll stop at the phone store and see what they can tell me. I think I need serious help. Not that y'all ain't and do appreciate the help thank you. But I think its gonna become a hands on deal.
Hi there..
In general, in order for folks to best help ya out, you need to offer up your end to end system specs. Device [s] by type/model, operating system[s] and software release versions, installed service packs, ’updates’ etc.
Usually can retrieve such specification information from the device/platforms ‘About' s.
Also your preferred software [apps] and again, their .vers, and an eye to the transport layer..your ISP [ yer service provider[s] available bandwidth, and your preferred method of engagement.. ?
Folks here on the site will happily ‘coach’ on this side, and solid advice on shooting ‘good’ images is in the ‘library and worth a look.
I know I know seems like a lot of info to ‘put out there’ but the more a consultant ‘knows’, the more specific your answers will be.
Good on ya..
Post Script:
I'm working on refining my shots too..

I do the same as Chevhead, but i use the desktop version of the site on my phone rather than an app.
The only frustration is that on my phone I can only select one photo to attach at a time whereas on a computer I can upload multiple at once.
Like some members have said, tapatalk is the best if you only have a phone. Go to google play store on your phone, search and install tapatalk, it is free and specifically for forums. Once installed, search for straight razor place in tapatalk, then login with your username and password here, and you are done. From there you can post and add photos etc, and it informs you when there are new messages that you have subscribed to.
Still need help?
The real question is how do you delete them once you upload them??? Hmmmm?
Delete, from your computer or the thread they are in ?
Assuming "edit post p" is still an option
Click edit post , then remove [photo]some path info[/photo]
So if " Herr is a pic [photo]fffhxg[/photo]
Would be edited: " Herr is a pic"
Now click save and your done
If edit post is not an option, then you can't
The inline option is 'attach' but even if you remove the inlining it'll still be attached to the post. To remove attachment you have to use the advanced editor and there is 'manage attachments' button/link where it can be removed from the post.
Also attachments that are not assigned to any post can be removed from the profile/settings, but I don't remember the exact navigation to it.
For images that are inlined from outside source removing the bbcode would remove them from the post and removing the file from the source or changing the location will result in a broken image being displayed. That happens inevitably sooner or later but people still use it instead of uploading the images to SRP.
Linking externel site images is just wrong because of the headaches it will cause.
