I agree, as I have complained in the past. Kind of sad, yet predictable.
As-said. Best for the forum as it is. Who knows what the future brings?

Now where are we going to read about guys shaving their wife's armpits?:gaah:
I'm glad that's over. Truly..
Thank you mods.
Gentlemen,
The Ladies Corner forum had potential if only more ladies participated in it. Instead, the forum became a barroom of men who forgot SRP's sense of propriety and good taste. I am pleased with our decision to close shop.
I don't think a gentleman would either read or post in the Ladies Corner. Hallo, jolly bad fun what?
I think it was perfectly fine and acceptable for men to post in the ladies corner, provided circumstance called for it.
I myself posted there once or twice, when questions were broached regarding both interpersonal shaving, as well as requests for information on "how to" as I have experience in such matters.
While I'm not against levity per se, I don't think I ever saw any made by the few women that actually posted there.
I don't much care if the site changes a little as the times dictate. As long as its still a place where people can ask questions and seek answers.
Never visited that forum, never looked at it.
This is the sort of thing Obie was talking about.
I'm sad that the Ladies Corner is gone. My husband has been using a straight razor for 5 years now. I just got up the courage to try it myself. (I'm still in the research stage, haven't actually tried it yet). I joined SRP today because I heard there was a ladies corner.
