Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question...apologies if I am in the wrong space. One of the things I enjoy about collecting razors DE/SE/SR is the history of the razor, the company, where they were made, etc. Is there a place on the forum to post or ask questions about the history of different makes or brands of SRs? For example, I am just restoring a Carbo Magnetic razor...and I am finding it hard to find information about the company, years it was made, where it was made, etc.
Head up to the search box at top-right and type-in Griffon. Carbo-Magnetic was a Griffon trademark.

I agree! For me the history of the company and the age of the blade add to the appeal of straight razor shaving:) For the larger firms there is a decent amount of information out there but there are some less common blades that you will never be able to find out anything about.
I'd ask it in the Razor section, but sharptonn pointed you to the right place.
i reckon the razors sub forum would be the go :D
