For me it would be different. A quality razor to me basically is one that has good geometry, takes a good edge and maintains it well. Fortunately that is fairly easily obtainable from reputable makers from various regions of the world going back several hundred years. I get as good a shave from a 150 year old razor as I do from my current production Revisor so long as the edge I put on them are both equally good.
I am sure for others it would mean something else altogether.
