Sorry, don't know but can't wait to learn.
I too would like to know. I made some errors in a listing and couldn't correct them.
I would think that in the worst case scenario, just reply to your own listing with the corrections.
I think the problem is that there is a limited time during which it is possible to make changes to a post and the software limitation is that it is the same timeframe no matter the forum section.
I think we have set it for 24 hours, may be, after that only a moderator can make changes.
The reason we have such timeframe limit is that once a conversation is established it is important to preserve its consistency to remain meaningful. Otherwise, if older posts get edited the subsequent responses to them could suddenly become completely nonsensical. Unfortunately, like most limitation settings, we have had to discover this from experience. There are still some threads (from years) ago that make no sense because some of the participants have edited their old posts (sometimes multiple times) to the point where the thread is now not only confusing but absurd.
Of course, in the B/S/T sections it's a bit different because the threads there are much more often closer to monologues than to conversations, so that issue doesn't exist, at least not to the same extent. But, like I said, the software doesn't allow us to set different timeframes for the different sections.
I think the best solution is probably to just make a new post with the updated information, or even could be a new thread and a moderator can be asked to delete the old one with the wrong info.
