The best advice is start a thread there and see how many hits you get. If you get enough over time we can revisit your request.

FWIW, I would greatly appreciate a Gallery sub-forum dedicated to Photography : Tips & Techniques for great Straight Razor pics.

At one point in my life, I took very good 35mm pictures. I have not transitioned to digital very well. Which does not make sense, because you can machine gun with digital and just get lucky. However the capture is not the same at all. I need to relearn digital. I have a decent SLR with quality optics. Perhaps if we all put our two cents in on a thread or a sub forum, those that knew more would emerge.
On the subject of straight razors, it is very hard for me to get the lighting correct. I have a large light box and four light with diffusers as well as my light box itself is a diffuser. I play with the light and snap half decent pics. At this point I actually use my iPad. Perhaps I’ll get back to the SLR in time.

I for one struggle with getting decent pictures of my Shave of the Day and OR any other razor pics. I have a large light box with ample lighting, a Cannon EOS 4000D and multiple lens for it.

Like Rez back in the day of film I used to get some very nice 35 mm pictures and I used a Cannon F1. In fact I did a ton of Senior Pictures, Wedding Pictures and other special day events but this digital world is another thing.

I would like to see a dedicated Gallery Sub Forum for how to take 'Quality Pictures' using the digital platform. The main reason I don't post in the Shave of the Day is because I can't get pictures that are close to the quality of most who do post.

Having those that have the skills being able to share would help 'Level the Playing Field' and be there to help others who come on board and want to post quality pictures.

We created a new forum section https://sharprazorpalace.com/photo-college that could organize these threads.
I think it'll be helpful to move some of the previous threads on the subject there, if we can find them, so if you know of find such a thread you can just send the link to thebigspendur or another moderator.

Wonderful news! Unanticipated, to say the least. Especially appreciated is the name -- Photo College -- which contains the blessing for its own success... for what is a "college", other than a "collage"? I look forward to what's ahead.

I appreciate this a whole bunch. Now is the time to start contributing to this new forum.
I would ask that all of you guys that have posted SOTD pics let us know what camera's, settings, lighting etc. that you have used.
Tell us what worked AND! what did not work.
I look forward to learning something useful.

    Thanks to all.

I didn't think of the pun, so I now like it even better
