recent visitors list does not update

As above, I find it updates only very occasionally, is this normal?

It will be only be updated as often as other members who are signed in visit your profile page. If you check it now, you should see that hoglahoo is now a recent visitor :)

Having had a look myself, I'm sure that once word gets round about it you'll have a constant stream! :tu;)
