Why is it that sometimes I log in the ads are from the forum sponsors, and sometimes they are just generic Google ads?
I'm mostly just curious, it isn't really interfering with my SRP experience.

I would assume it is simply a means of paying for the site.
I believe there is a backup ad system for when the normal ads dont work correctly
