If things go as planned, they should be back online in a few hours... if not, then :shrug:

We'll be upgrading the Forum software to the latest version. No changes are expected in registrations, passwords, etc. Several of the styles will change... sorry, but some of the existing ones are not available with the latest version. Also, there will be a new direct load link (ie, for those that bypass the main site and load the forums directly, the existing ".../forums2" link will change -- I'll post a "shout" on the main site listing the new location when the forums are back up.

We'll also be replacing vbChat with a flash-based chat. Note -- the new chat requires that you have Macromedia Flash Reader version 7 or above installed, so if you need to upgrade, do so before you try to use the new chat. If you're not sure, you can test [here] and upgrade/download the plugin if needed.
