Review sections

I am having trouble in the review sections of the forum. I'm not seeing any of the sort features (A - Z)

May just be me but wanted to post! Thanks!

Good to know that someone has reported this and it's not just me that noticed it. Without the A-Z links the reviews section is really quite hard to navigate... Let's keep adding to that section folks - it's going to be a really useful source of information especially for when it comes to reviewing rare items that not everyone might have.

Oh, and trifili, Panathinaikos is not as good as AEK Athens!! :rofl2:

Btw is there a timeline for the A-Z links in the review forum?

Yes, good point. I'd like to know that too - may be writing a few reviews soon, when I get the chance.

may be a week, may be sooner if i find the time.

As well, I don't see the actual ratings (in the "ratings box", if you will) that the members assigned in their product reviews. Will that reappear when the aforementioned sort feature is reintroduced?

take a look at the reviews for razors, hones, and strops. that's probably how it all ends up until the software is fixed (no time frame).

Interestingly enough, when I access the soaps & creams reviews from the general "review" link it appears as it used to (sort feature, ratings intact), yet when I try to access those reviews from the open Forum section all I get is a thread listing.

alright, we have somewhat functional reviews. note that they are not part of the current forum (the reviews software development seems to have stalled at 5 years ago and while supposedly a new version that would work with our forum is in testing mode, there's no word when to expect it).

so, unless you're a brand new member from this week you can still login to the reviews forum and add reviews and comments, we'll eventually move them here whenever there is a working review software.
it doesn't look as nice as this site (well, it looks just like it used to look before, so may be some will like it better), but it's functional.

as a newbie looking at new and vintage blades to purchase sure makes it handy to have the A-Z application.

yeah, reviews are helpful, would be nice if some of the more experienced members add more.
