    Default Resources Forum

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a forum where all the links to various resouces could be posted?

I ask because I read a thread about buying hones the other day, with links to shops in Europe. Now I can't find the thread again

    Just a thought

Hrmmm, I suppose that's what Vendor's Corner is for, but, I don't often see many new posts in it.

I was thinking more of a repository for any good links that members find. It would keep them all in one place, at least.

It might be that someone has found a good place to buy something, or has a recommendation for some online shop.

Something like the 'Links' page on the main menu? Or are you looking for something else?

Along this line of thinking, I was reading another forum (forgive me) and it was suggested to start a thread so people could post local barbers, supply stores, etc. in various cities. This was so anyone traveling and in need of a barber or shaving supplies could check the list for the city the would be/are in.

I didn't think that was a bad idea.

I have recently done quite some research into buying hones.
Let me know what you need and I may be able to get you the link.

A good hone - either Norton or Thuringer or Coticule plus a Nagura stone or similar

I have a set of Japanese waterstones, but I'm not 100% on the quality.
