I'll be interested to hear your opinion. I like the Maca Root they sell. I have enough soaps and creams to last many years but another one cant hurt.
Just got some and will give it a go in the am.
At 75% off ($2.20 USD) I couldn't pass it up. Hopefully it doesn't end up in the reject drawer with Burt's Bees' shave cream.

Maca root is from the body shop.. This stuff is from bath and bodyworks, please let me know how u like it..
Bodyshop, Bath and Bodyworks, Bed Bath and Beyond; it's hard to keep them straight.
I tried the Ocean from BBW yesterday and have only good things to say. It was a comfortable shave with no burn or irritation.
I did my normal prep and used an old GEM which is a proven performer. Put about a two inch plus squeeze in a shaving mug and started whipping up a lather. Ehhh, that was probably twice as much product as was needed. I added water and added water until the lather was ready. I had plenty of lather left over.
Was the Ocean as good as the old ProRazo? I will say my first experience was very close and without the tingling. Is this stuff made by ProRazo?
Today, I will use about a one inch squeeze and see how that works.
While in BBW I noticed there was a shaving cream for the ladies. I should have gotten a tube but the Swiss Miss had me in her sights so I knew not to push the spending.
Dave
Is it meant for brushes, or is it one of those "brushless creams"?
The instructions are:
"Massage onto face with wet hands or brush to build up a great lather, shave and rinse"
I used the BBW Ocean again today with a Shumate. Followed my usual prep routine but as before built the lather in a mug. Cut back on the product to about 1 and 1/2 inches. Still plenty of lather after my usual two pass shave. The next shave I will try the "almond" size recommended for some creams. For the record I have never gotten a good lather with an "almond" size ProRazo. Our house water is softened.
The cream contains aloe and vitamin E.
The scent is a "fresh blend of cypress, vetiver and yuzu". I never heard of yuzu.
Online a 6 oz (177 ml) tube is $11 USD with a buy two and get the third tube free. The store had it as stated for $2.20 USD but no volume discount.

I like the scent, but wasn't happy with the lather. Seemed airy and foamy. I'm sticking with the Bigelow and Proraso.
I agree it is not quite the old, green ProRazo but I prefer soap (Tabac, Trumper, Crabtree etc.).
How much product did you use?
But, for $2.20 it is a good fallback.
The AOS Kelp had a much better scent than BBW Ocean if the Ocean scent is supposed to be an "ocean" scent.
