J/A/S/O/N makes a couple of aloe products that are nice to use. I got mine at Wild Oats, which is much the same as Whole Foods.

I checked out the Thayers website and found that there is a store near me that carries their products...as I don't want any alcohol in it (for some reason I don't like my face to feel like I've lit it on fire ), should I get one of their non-alcoholic toners? Anyone use this? If I am worried about sensitive skin, should I just stick with the unscented (out of concern that lemon or rose fragrance will cause irritation)?

Any reason why I couldn't use this first after shaving...let it dry and then apply a moisturizing balm?

They do have specific "aftershave", but it has 20% alcohol as a preservative, which I figure will sting just a bit. Aftershave or Toner?

I don't have sensitive skin so it doesn't effect me. I think the alcohol used is grain alcohol which isn't as drying and irritating.

Maybe you should try out some pure witch hazel hydrosol ----no artificial stuff ---maybe mix it with some aloe vera.

    Hi guys!

Anyone know of Canadian sources for Thatcher's or Dickson's products? I've emailed both companies and they've never responded. The only witch hazel product I can get is the stuff the local Zeller's (I think it's like a U.S. Target store) sells in its pharmacy (just plain witch hazel - not too appealing). Alternatively, I note someone in this thread mentioned a "Sue" who custom makes after-shaves. What is Sue's website called?

    Thanks.

    Gideon
