It's great! Smell brings back memories of waking up at my cousin's house in the mountains with coffee going.
I don't think that you would be disappointed.
Awesome thank you
Just ordered it I will let you know what I think
I haven't tried that version yet, but her Brazilian Roast smells just like coffee.
I haven't tried that one yet but Mama Bear is pretty good with her scents so I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Be sure to let us know how it turns out
Ok so I got it in a while ago and it is great it smells like a cup of coffee more than a bag of fresh grounds but I have already used almost the whole puck and am now thinking about honeybee soaps they have a cherry pipe tobacco sented one and I am curious. Any thoughts?
Your not supposed to eat it :<0) My pucks from her last a year. I have 5 years worth now but if it tastes like coffee I might try it.
I've found Sue's (Mama Bear) scent descriptions to be pretty accurate. I've tried a number, and they perform well at a good price. I did try the Morning Cup once in a sample (once was a sampleholic), but never bought a full dish
I was not bad at all and after you get used to it being thirsty it creates a great lather
I don't know those two scents, but her Roses and her Northwoods are both spot on. Just right. I look forward to trying the morning cup now.
Roses is pretty clear but what does Northwoods smell like?
With the Northwoods soap, I think of stepping on pine needles still moist with dew while the first sun-warmed breeze lifts my hair as I break camp to continue backpacking the Minnesota ridge line.
(Sue can use that. I'm just an idea guy. :) )
That is well spoken sir I think I may have to try it just so I can step out of that tent in to the morning air. But not in a broke back mountain kinda way.
I am thinking about trying out a brand called honeybee they have some interesting scents do any of you have any experience with the brand?
It is a she a butter based soap. I done know what that will mean for my face
the Mamma bears turkish coffee is an amazing sent, smells like a rich mocha, she also has a great smelling pipe tobacco soap, cheery i think but its hard to pair with an after scent.
Is her soap selection on a rotation or constant?
From what I have seen it all depends on sales. If it sells it sticks around. Makes sense huh ? I just sold a friend on Dragon's Blood. The hint of patchouli did it.
I love that smell myself as it takes me back to the 60's when all and everything I wanted smelled like that :<0)
I've been using her Dublin Tweed for the past week. It's a very nice scent for Spring.
I also like the powdery amber musk scent from her Ye Old BarberShoppe soap.
I was wondering about the ye old barber shoppe o will have to try it out some day.
Is it more of a traditional shave/barbicide sent
Rosemary Mint is one of my favorites, its a great scent and the mint makes it a good summer soap. Unfortunately here in Minnesota, that's only about six months of the year. (It snowed 8 inches last night. In April...)
I also love the wooden tubs with the bear etched on the lid.
"I also love the wooden tubs with the bear etched on the lid."
Has she changed her packaging? The time I ordered, the soap was packaged in plastic tubs.
That's the only one I really liked. I mean, I didn't sample any of her scents that I found to be bad in any way. In fact, some of her copy cat scents were really nice too. I don't know how close they were to their original partners but they were nice. But the one that I really found to be great was the Ol' Barbershop.
I used the Mama Bear Barbershop today. The MB is a very good, easy to lather soap, and the Barbershoppe scent is great. I got a good, close, nick free shave today.
