Has anybody gotten a tingly/irritated feeling from Maca Root cream? I am getting this and although it is not serious just annoying I am thinking of stopping using it. That would be a real pity as it is otherwise a very good cream for me.

IMO it's a great performer - great glide, cushion and easy to lather. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scent but I can overlook that because it works well.
Sounds like you're getting a reaction from one of the ingredients, possibly the maca root itself (?). If that's the case it's best to retire it and move on. Afterall, it's not like you have a shortage of soaps and creams :p
I have pretty sensitive skin, but I have to +1 with Ryan I find the Macca Root SC pretty mild and a great performer, I do like the Original Formula better but the Macca Root isn't bad at all..
Set it aside for a week or two then try it after a day off of shaving and see what happens, but honestly I have given away plenty of creams and soaps because they had a bit to much zing on my face..
That is the rub, it is a great performer and I hate to let it go. Looks like my buddy gets another shave cream to try.

After this mornings shave with Maca Root it gets a reprieve, no slight tingle felt. I am thinking if my shave is off a bit, technique or blade, there is something in Maca Root that sets off the slight tingle for me. That is why the original question just asked if anyone else had that happen, a slight tingle during use. Just trying to determine if Maca Root was known for giving reactions in general or it was something else.
I had been using Maca Root in my rotation with satisfaction for over a year and had not any problems with it. OTH allergic reactions can pop up with no previous history using a product. Seems like for me something in Maca Root acts as a "tell" to a slightly off shave and is not an allergic reaction to it. It is the only soap I have used that does this.
Anyway, relieved I don't have to get rid of a good performer just get a better grip on shaving.

I never had a problem with the Maca Root shaving cream, but the aftershave did give me a reaction.
