Has anyone else tried this soap with this scent? Before I comment on the scent I would like to hear others reactions.

This one is on my radar too.
Not that particular one, but I've got the bay rum and it's one of the best soaps for shaving. Really rich creamy lather with plenty of glide and I really like the wide diameter tin so that you can work your brush well into the soap. Try it you definitely won't be disappointed.
I have the cavendish scent. Love the smell good soap for the money and pretty easy to lather. I like ppf a bit better but would buy this again.
I recently got the Meta Nectar scent and I find it pleasant and relaxing. Seems to be a floral, spice mix to me, but my nose is usually off so it could be something completely different. Kind of reminds me of the soap in the dispensers in public bathrooms, but smells better. Either way I like.
Great! I finally got some commentary on this matter. It's great to hear that scents like Cavendish and Bay Rum are being well received. However, I've been holding off on commenting on Meta because my comments aren't good and I wanted to give others a chance to say something nice. To me this scent smells like urine and disinfectant. So I binned it because I could not even use it as a hand soap. I have tried the Bay Rum as well and it is very "bay rummy". So you need to really like bay rum. Finally, on a side note, the soaps are interesting in that there is a cloudy, soapy looking top layer and a clearer under layer of soap. Anyone know what is going on there?
I believe it's formed as the soap is poured into the tin, usually from bubbles trapped in the mix. A lot of Artisan soaps seem to be like this, as only natural ingredients are used no chemicals to stabilise it. My own soap which I make ends up like this, doesn't always look good but it lathers and shaves well. Can't comment on the scent you tried but the Bay Rum is quite strong, personally I like it like that.
Otoko, a soap from Australia is a strange soap almost translucent but this also has the bubble effect.
Ha! I did not comment at first because I hadn't tried that scent BUT.. I did try the "Vanetivier" and I hate it. The soap itself is pretty good performance-wise, perhaps in the middle or lower upper class tier. I chose that one because I'd never tried anything in vetivier and know that some people like it. Perhaps it's the combination of vanilla and vetivier but I find it right on the edge of being sickening. It's not quite nauseating but it's close. It's not a very strong scent so I think I'll leave it open for a few weeks to see if it will weaken enough to be usable. To each his own, of course, and scent preferences in particular are highly subjective but try it at your own peril. :)
