D.R. Harris soups are good hard soaps. Easy to lather, slick, good cushion with correct water ratio. Scent is present but not strong. I've used Arlington & Marborough, both perform well.
However, I've come to favor artisan soaps. My favorite artisan right now is Barrister and Mann, any scent. Excellent performer, large diameter container, reasonable cost. My opinion is that Barrister and Mann performs as well as Martin de Candre at about half the price.
I've got the Marlborough soap and have quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Arlington
GuysIn my particular I consider my favorite england soap. It last looong time, it lathers awesome and protective. Feel.free to get it. In my case I love the marlborough and the new waited sandalwood. Awesome stuff.ThanksKen
Very good product..i have it!!! The performance is good(like all Harris soap) the smell is something sweety with bit citrus tone.
The smell is like a cake made in Naples (called "Pastiera") during the Christmas and Easter period :D :D
I got some from Gary's Sample shop and it was great stuff. I don't remember the smell exactly but that its a very nice scent and that it was ENGLISH..lol Fantastic lather!
Thank god... it arrived this morning, i thought it would never get here.
First impression of the scent..well it's definitely old school, it reminds me of when i used to visit my Godfathers barber shop in Soho, London.
When i opened the box and took my first whiff it was strong smelling almost chemical like. However, after lathering up, it's not so overpowering, more light & fresh. The puck produced a nice lather for me which had a decent slick consistency providing a smooth glide..... overall a great wee soap.
I enjoyed using this product.
