For a puck soap, Czech and Speake 88 is hard to beat.

I have heard that Czech and speake are made by Volabra. Is this accurate? If so, is it the same quality as the hard puck Volabra?

Yes, made by Valobra. It's at least as good as the hard Valobra puck. People seem to think the C&S formula might be better being made for Czech and Speake - and it is also often equated with the old AoS tallow soaps which were also made by Valobra.

    Cheers, Steve

Don't know about that. They are both made in Italy.

Is Cella the only one of the soft croaps that requires a sealed container to keep from spoiling?

I have the original formulation from back in the day when Razorock was selling it. Not sure if the rebranded version is identical.

I have never heard this before, what do you mean by spoiling?
Mine sits in a shave mug and is just fine, been there for more than a year now.
