I was in London on Tuesday & discovered a new shop selling an extensive range of Proraso soaps & creams.
De razors &blades and quite a large range of shaving brushes.
I can't remember the name but it's situated on the left hand side of the arcade when walking up from Jermyn St.

this may be in the Piccadilly arcade ,as I bought some aftershave from Santa Maria Novella at the top of the arcade & the recipt say 1 Piccadilly arcade.

It used to be a hairdressers that also stocked Proraso and a few other bits. They now seem to have given up on the hairdressing and focused on shaving supplies. Proraso, Edwin Jagger, Simpson, Musgo Real and maybe one or two others? Fortnum & Mason is also well worth a visit if you're in the area: Castle Forbes, Kent, Lucky Tiger as well as the usual traditional English suspects.

There are some wonderful shops in the Burlington arcade, I certainly wouldn't be looking at shaving supplies If I went in there for sure. Two items spring to mind one of my major weakness shoe's and boots firstly then some nice watches, followed by some serious leather goods and topped off with a few fashion accessories, forgot to say when my lottery ticket comes up.:)
I would walk straight passed that arcade and head for Conduit Street to the East India Tea Company for the best Tea on Earth. Then head up to Penhaligons on Brook street. Grab a Starbucks and then hit Carnaby Street for some clothes . I could go on :nono:
Does anyone have any other recommendations of lovely places to drain the mortgage deposit fund in?
There used to be a L'Artisan Parfumeur in Coventry Garden but that's gone - replaced with a Penhaligon's I think. I haven't lived or worked in town for a few years now and it's starting to show!
