I'm a fan of the Cella Sapone Extra Extra Purissima 1kg block, for some reason not the red tub.

Solid performer, great value and I use it as my shave test soap.

Yes, you can get more cushion and glide from other soaps as you climb the soap & cream food chain..
But Cella has a spot in my primary basket O soaps...

    Smooth Shaving...

MDC is to shaving soap.....what Coors was to Beer back in the 70's. If your old enough to remember...no one East of the Mississippi could get their hands on Coors Beer.....and you always want ...what you can't get....and when you get it,you think it's the BEST EVAH....just like MDC.

I have the Cella in a red tub, and it does nothing for me. Not bad, just not great. YMMV

Never considered Coors a beer back then.

Now Bob, it's a pretty decent beer except for that one missing quality - flavor.
(If you really want to strain the imagination, contemplate this phrase: "Coors Light.")
