Uber Lather Directly on Face
First ... I'm frugal (code for cheap). I like inexpensive soaps and creams that work well and are found locally. I use VDH Luxury Soap (Walmart), The Real Shaving Company Cream (Rite Aid), and Glycerin (CVS). I uber lather directly on my face rather than messing with a bowl or scuttle. It goes something like this. I take a peanut size dab of cream and hand rub it into my beard. I then put 5 drops of Glycerin on the soap puck and commence to loading my brush. I then go directly to face lathering. The lather that it builds is consistently thick, rich and slick. Just thought I would share this with you.
