I was shaving with a great tallow soap, Dapper Dragon's Ice Wyrm, and due to the fact that it's a tallow soap with both rosemary and black pepper, I'd would have sworn I was rubbing my
face with a ribeye from Ruth's Chris. Or maybe my nose was playing tricks on me! Either way, it wasn't a bad experience at all. Just strange.
Has anyone else picked up beefy notes from their beef tallow soap?
There is something in Cella underneath the cherry-almond that's similar to the fat left in the pan after cooking a steak. It's not the dominant scent but it's noticeable.

It makes me think of buying another one rib prime roast and grilling it, rosemary is great with prime rib no matter how you cook it.
I note that in Cella also, I don't mind it, but it is there.

Mama Bear's makes (or made, haven't checked in a while) a pot roast shaving soap, maybe one of the artisans who make their soaps from tallow could do a "steakhouse" scent... I'd buy it...
Pretty much all of my soaps are tallow I have yet to smell any fat but I will be on a look out for it now.
