Has anyone tried Peter Charkalis' soaps from Shave Shop yet? I am curious about any reviews. They soaps are made by different artisans and seem to have very nice scents.

Not yet, but I'm intrigued by the Acqua di Florida Shaving Soap. I do enjoy Murray & Lanman's Florida Water as an AS.
Edit; One new soap ordered! Their webpage said only three left. Now two.
You have sharp eyes Stefan. That is a little too wet proto lather. I was impatient, and tend to face lather. I have fairly soft water, that brush has a fat handle, and that mug is a bit small in diameter. After this photo I loaded a bit more soap and commenced to enjoy my shave.

I'm around six months into wet shaving, so Everything is new to me. I have sampled B&M, but not Stirling. While I'm not against using non-tallow soaps, in my limited experience they do perform better than vegan products. That's YMMV territory. The variables may be minor, from water type or beard thickness, to plain old technique. My draw on this soap was both the tallow base, and the scent. I'm not unhappy!
