Anyone else find it lacks glide. I bought some at Walmart because it was 4 bucks and when using it I felt my blade stuck to my face. Maybe I haven't used it long enough.

My first soap and brush were Wilkinson from Walmart. Best part of that soap is the clamshell plastic container. The Crabtree Evelyn Nomad, which I totally love, and available at the Bath Shoppe, fit it to a tee.
The Wilkinson soap lathered well, but needed lots of water, IMO.
Avoided it because of their mainly making carts and just didn't want to give them any of my money. Probably foolish of me.
Finally a thread I might be able to help with ! There is probably a trick to stubborn shave soap. First pour some "Tink 69" doe piss on the soap. Next some real hot water, and finally a very expensive badger shaving brush. Then go at it !!! It should bubble bath in no time :rofl2: and after a close shave it should leave a scent that will make people stand up and notice. Just kidding :)
I must have underhydrated. I will try again tonight and post back.
It went a little better with more water. I'll have to experiment some more.
I used to leave mine open on the shower floor while i showered then it softened up enough to where i could load a brush.
Love the smell, once you could load the brush it was slick and thick enough to use. Its not on my list of soaps to buy again though.
JMHO
