First go with the MdC Agrumes soap, and I was a little surprised.

Given this is MdC, glide, lather, everything that we've come to expect from such a major player was all there - perfect.

The scent, beautiful in every way - one interesting factor, problem? for me though.

Once I started lathering I thought somehow I'd managed to lather up the Klar Seifen, "Lemongrass" soap, as the scent, performance, everything was indistinguishable to me.

First time use, I'm sure other notes or scents will emerge to distinguish this soap, but for all intents and purposes, this is a clone of Klar Seifen, "Lemongrass"....more to follow.

    Cheers....

It's good stuff, pleasant and unique - unique for MdC - in that it does not seem to have benzoin resin in it. I'm good with benzoin but it is maybe time for MdC to expand into non-benzoin scents. Bravo MdC!

    Cheers, Steve

Quebec City gents, never been, and the box was so fragrant I wanted to climb in it. Best smelling packing peanuts ever!
I'm keeping two of them, the other three heading to homes to the west and south of me..

    Aloha!

I have never really stratified soaps and creams to much extent. Over the decades, I have discovered great soaps and creams, good soaps and creams and not so good soaps and creams. Lately I tend to stick to my favorites. I'm currently on a Stirling soap kick and I have never really come off of Proraso creams.

But there are many others in my shave den. The quest for soaps and creams to me is on-going. It keeps changing and I never know what is yet to be discovered.

    Mahalo!
