Both LPL and MDC recommend not covering their soaps and always leaving them open to the air. Of course, that's impossible if you have more than just a few soaps (I have more than a few crates of soaps) and need to stack them.

    Gentlemen.

I used my Castle Forbes 1445 today and am happy to say its just as good as the original line up.
The ingredients appear to be the same just in a slightly different order indicating different ratios.

Upon opening I get a delicate fougere, woody, herbal with some citrus. Even with my big nose its quite a subtle fragrance, I have however got a bit of a cold. Using an almond size amount and my Manchurian Duke 3 I quickly whipped up a thick, dense face lather. Like the originals I find it can take a good amount of water and would be hard to make a thin, watery lather. As always with Castle Forbes the shave is impeccable, robust, slick and a good amount of cushion. The only downside for me is the post shave, it left my face slightly pinched but then so does Xpec, I do have a strong beard but girly like sensitive skin, nothing that a dollop of my usual Roship, Argon or Avocado oil wont sort out.

    Winner! Gagnon!!

Just tried Mondial, Bergamotto & Neroli, wow, what a delightful, rich, easy to lather, robust lather bomb that was.

Hints of fine citrus pervade this soap, rich, thick, wonderful to use, I can't believe I've never heard of these soaps before, seen them in a few SOTD's, glad I grabbed one...more to follow from this maker. First Tier if there was ever one IMO.....

Got my samples from Hollykaw today and went with the tobacco to give it a try. They should call it chocolate as it smells more choc. than anything else. Was not really fond of the scent. YMMV. But the shave was wonderful. I'm really loving this stuff.

I got samples from Wholly Kaw this week and stopped after trying King of OUD. Can any soap lather or smell better? My wife walked into the bathroom after I shaved and had to comment on how wonderful the scent was I just love it

This is what I find, also, with this scent.

Indeed the coco is very dominant scent, but after a while you can smell bourbon and cavendish. Looking forward to your report on the other scents.
    Cheers.

Light scent with a LOT of different scents mixed in. Read about it. 18 different scents mixed into this one. I enjoyed it. Not sure if you can order it or not. I've got a tub of the King and it is very nice. My favorite so far.

Nice, Jerry. I have one on the way and am looking forward to it. I love his donkey milk soaps, and it's just finding the scents that you like. Fortunately, I don't have one that I dislike, and have several scents that I really like. These are definitely Tier 3 soaps, in my opinion.
