CF lime is a stellar cream. But I must confess, my staple has become Proraso Red cream. Cheap, smells great and delivers !

Not sure when exactly but resellers started stocking it in the UK in 2019 so I daresay the US started stocking it around the same time.

If you ever get stuck https://www.theenglishshavingcompany...MaAiIAEALw_wcB ship globally for a few bucks.

I've always purchased directly from MdC.

Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap - had it before, cheap, but surprisingly not bad at all.

I'm curious if anyone has input about the Simpsons shaving creams. Obie places them in the first tier, but there's almost no mention of them on this forum. I'm curious to try them, but of the three scents that are easily available in Canada none are ones that typically appeal to me: Sandalwood, Bay Rum, and Lime. (Sandalwood appeals to me, but I've never really liked how it actually smelled on me. I hope that makes sense)

I have had 2 sample tins (which I think really is a full size tin, just unscented) shipped with brushes ordered directly from the Simpson site. It is an awesome cream imo, and deserving of Obie’s placement. Very soft in the tin, like Castle Forbes, easy to overload your brush, particularly a stiff synthetic. Scooping is prudent if you want it to last. Super slick, great cushion, easy lathering. Still have one tin left. My software inventory is such that I should keep to a ‘No Buy’ for longer than I wish….but it would be a consideration.

My opinion on Simpsons shaving cream echoes yours. A great cream: easy to use, slick and provides good cushion.
