Cream in a tube recommendations
Good Morning Gents,
I am putting together a small travel kit. In it are a an ancient DE travel razor from eBay, blades , and a small brush. What do you all recommend in the way of shave cream in a tube? Something that really creates a good lather. Jars of shave cream or soap pucks would obviously work, but I think that something in a tube would create less/no watery mess rattling around the old Dopp kit. Whattaya think?
Thanks!
Cream in a tube recommendations
I travel regularly and contrary to your reasoning I avoid creams, as the tubes don't hold up that well when travelling, become squeezed and sometimes start oozing cream.
As mentioned before, sticks or shaving soap in containers where the lid is secure (e.g. Cella, Proraso, or Taylor of Old Bond Street tubs) are preferable.
Shaving sticks are also space savers, but try to find one that comes already in a container suitable for travel (e.g. D.R. Harris).
BTW, I found La Toja not that suitable, as the top of the container tends to come off.
