There's nothing to be gained, order from the site when they have a sale and save on the shipping, last time I got 3 jars fro the price of 2. Tc
Pumped! My first experience with this soap shall be tomorrow am. Thanks to SRP....I otherwise would not have heard of it.

If you're using Google as a search engine (and maybe many others) just type 'x euros in dollars' in the address bar and hit 'go'.

I’m fairly new and tried some great soaps and creams.

Is MDC really worth 80 bucks?
Why not get a sample and try it? Shavedash sells samples or I could send you one if you don't mind used soap and aren't picky about which fragrance.
The main complaints are that it leaves nothing on the skin, which is typical of pure coconut oil soaps, or that the benzoin resin they use doesn't 'smell good'. Benzoin is very French, and is a resin like cade or frankincense. The fougere has little or no benzoin and the agrumes none that I can tell.
It leaves my skin very soft which is also typical of coconut oil, but if you want a double butter, triple cream soap, MdC isn't it.
Grab a few bath soaps while you're at it, and they usually throw in some 50g bath soap samples BTW.
Cheers, Steve
I was looking at The Fougere
Where can I get it for that price?
Here:
https://savonnerie-martin-de-candre....-fougere-.html
You'll need to create an account like many vendors here, but they have to have your address on file in order to not charge you 20% VAT I suspect.
The fougere has always been a little more but only 2 euros more - the rose is even a little more. For estimation, the VAT and conversion rate are now cancelling themselves out within a dollar or two, so the 43.50 euro VAT-included price is about what you'll pay in ex-VAT dollars.
Good luck!
Cheers, Steve
Where did I get it?
Little late to this thread but...
... EXACTAMUNDO!
No need to justify when the best of the best outlasts and outperforms the competition!
alschepis - go to the MDC site, set the language to ENG, French is their default option and VOILA!
You are in soap heaven!
Cheers.
I’m sure enjoying it. Only about 7 or 8 shaves with it so far. I could get use to the stuff for sure.
