First Shave With L’Occitane

Today was my first Shave With L’occitane Soap. I really love it. I have a rather large Shaving mug someone gave me for Christmas years ago and I’ve never found a puck of soap that will fit tightly in it. This soap, after I trimmed it just a tiny bit with a cheese slicer fits nice and snug. And, with my Thater 35mm Brush the handles don’t bang around while you load the brush. This soap produced a very nice lather very quickly. I love the scent as well.

Today was also my first Shave with my recently acquired NOS Puma Gold Razor and damn that thing shaves great!

So my new razor rotation will consist of 5 Pumas, 2 Dovos, and a Case SS.

My soap / cream rotation will mostly be MDC, Castle Forbes Cream, Tabac, and L’Occitane. But I will also be using Harris and TOBS, Men’s Soap Co. and Fine Soap. And I will sometimes use TOBS Lavender Cream and Trumper Coconut Cream.
