I don’t think he’s going to listen to you... I could be wrong, but no one can be THAT forgiving can they?

Oh yes! I count on that every day! :)
Post-op and prescription stuff. Makes a big difference,
I’m as confused about your dilemma as I am mine. It’s not the blade, or it would be a cut. The Head is smooth, so that’s out leaving only the guard. Somehow the guard on the slant is irritating that spot below the chin.
In my case it’s all about the soap because the razor never touched my face leaving it to be something chemical. Hopefully a one of.
Edit: is it possible you are getting “micro cuts” via the slant that create itch, but only redden when scratched?
Do you have a second DE?
Off topic but it was brought up. I too had a reaction to an exotic wood I was making scales out of. The problem was all 4 of them we new to me so I couldn't narrow it down. Good luck on your shave in the morning David. I've never like chocolate shave soaps. Love chocolate, just the smell in the soap never worked for me.
I’m not sure yet if I like the chocolate scent. I was a little shell shocked when I was trying to figure that out. When I bought it, I confused it with a coffee with a hint of chocolate profile. That would have been killer!
It would be killer if it smelled like dark chocolate! The light chocolate scent isn’t as exciting.
I don’t really know how to do that. I read this story which was fascinating really, and came to the conclusion that I’m not able.
