Obie, whefe would you put Mamabears soap compared to MWF as far as quality? I dont have the MWF but do enjoy Mamabears. I will pick up some MWF soon but would like your opinion on this so i have starting point.

    Jerry,

Mama Bear is a topnotch soap offered in a variety of fragrances, whereas Mitchell's Wool Fat comes in one scent only.

I have read some complaints, mostly from newbies, that Mitchell's Wool Fat is hard to lather. I have never found that to be the case. Top the puck with warm water, take your shower, and then load the brush heavily for a quality lather.

Mama Bear soaps make copious lather quickly. Cushion and glide are fine. Aftershave qualities are fine, too.

You will not go wrong with either soap.

I'm with Obie on Proraso. It was one of the first soaps I got to lather well EVERY time!

Good point about Proraso. It should be moved to that section.

Thanks, my friend. I had missed chatting with my friends here. In the meantime, I hobble around the house like a peg-legged pirate.
