From my experiwnce, Poraso in the tube is a good soap.
I understand that Obie's list was a few years ago, but those top tier soaps are ones that usually work for all skin types including sensitive. I know not everyone is the same, but if one wanted to try a soap, and asked here, they would get an honest response from someone with the same type skin. I think after that, ones beard toughness comes into play. But to me, at least, the skin care and proper attributes to a soap are what are the most important.
To each their own, there's more soap makers than ever before. So it's a vast expanse to cross :tu

I have tried most of the soaps out there and for years used inexpensive soaps staples with good results.
But one of the biggest eyeopeners I experienced in shaving years ago was “Quality Soaps”. Many of Obie’s top tier soaps have literally changed my shaving life.
When my son turned to wet shaving, I turned him on to MDC, he was hooked. The cost when compared per use is pennies, do yourself a favor, the top tier soaps, are there for a reason.
And they make excellent gifts, so drop some hints, Father’s Day is coming, beats the crapola out of a tie or pair of socks.
