    Default Cool man, Cool

So what ya gonna do when the mercury starts to climb and you be hot under the collar and that high end MDC and CF just ain't gonna cut it for relief.

Well that's when you reach for your tub of Meisner Tremonia Mint Ice Menthol shave soap and corresponding after shave.

Finish yer shave and slap some of that on and you be in the Antarctic on the coldest day of the year.

Do you guys have a special routine for those dog days of summer coming soon?

I'm not a fan of menthol, and my only change is toward lighter scented soaps, A/S, and EdT such as citrus scented products. I am an early riser and shave before it's hot. I also live in Oregon, but if I lived in New Mexico I might have to give menthol another try.

I usually just go for lighter scents as well. Nothing woodsy or spicey.

I would say citrus, but I like those year round.

As my name states, I live in AZ and few places get hotter. In fact as I'm typing this post, I am lounging poolside with a cerveza. That's really the only way to deal with the heat.

Yeah, I've got some hot weather favorites. I still keep a tube of Proraso and Godrej Menthol Mist around, both favorites from when I first started. I don't currently have any other of the extreme "sub-zero" type creams or soaps, though I would love to try some of Stirling's offerings, and that Meisner Tremonia you mention sounds awesome. I will sometimes add a few drops of menthol to a citrusy cream or soap, as citrus and menthol usually work well together. I also have a homemade aftershave I call Lime Ice Mojito, basically lime and mint.

One other thing I'll do on a real hot day is, after I do a hot water rinse, I'll get a couple of ice cubes from the dispenser (and a couple more for the dogs lol!). I just rub 'em around my face for the ultimate cold-water rinse-VERY refreshing. Oh, and that Royall Vetiver AS you sent me is also quite refreshing in the heat!

    Gentlemen,
I don’t care for mentholated soaps and creams. Regardless of season, I lather with whatever strikes my fancy in the shave den.

Fortunately, where I live, our summers aren't usually overly warm, especially, in the mornings, so I don't alter my shaving routine except for using cooler water.

Gets plenty hot here. I am mostly all about the cool stuff in the summer, mostly citrus.
Trumper's Limes, MDC Agrumes, Castle Forbes Lime, AOS Lemon, Razorock lime, Oleo Pucker.
Some Menthol Green Proraso too with AS to complement all.

    Love it!

The Wholly Kaw Agrumi in Estate looks good.....

Nelson is right. These products are very lightly scented, and pleasantly cooling. My favourite kit for warm weather.

I like the FINE, snake bite. Like shoving your face in the snow. Mind you don't get it close to your eyes.!!

My solution to the dog days of summer is to turn on the central air conditioning and continue to use whatever I want.
