    Default La Toja shave stick

I have had this La Toja shave stick for a few years and have neglected using it for some reason. I decided to use for this weeks shaves and the initial impression is very good. So I decided to make a few comments on it.

It lathers very easily producing a rich creamy slick lather. The scent is a pleasant mild one. It allowed me lovely smooth 4 pass shaves with a straight razor so I'd say it was worth a go if you were so inclined.

Has anyone else used this shave stick?

YES!! I've certainly used it for years. Great clean soap smell. I'm able to work up an excellent lather which is quite slick. I use a stick for travel and grind up a stick or two in a bowl for home. I like it a lot and keep it in stock at all times. I have the cream also but prefer the stick.

I've been using La Toja shave stick for quite some time.
I find it a great bang for the buck, and a good all around preformer with a really nice scent.
I too, grind a bit up into a bowl when lathering.
I will always keep it in the rotation.

I have mine pressed into a bowl, but it is a staple in my world. In fact it was my choice of soap for this shift at work. I need to order more though.

Haven't used mine for awhile. Always pleasure to use, though.

La Toja is my go-to travel shaving stick.

Generally, I prefer shaving soaps and creams, but for travelling the convenience of a stick outweighs the disadvantages (less lubrication than soaps or creams).

Typically Toja; soapy scent with a slight saltiness from the Toja springs mineral salts.

As far as sticks go, not much to complain about except that the cap could be made to fit more securely, as it has a tendency to come off in carry-on bags.

Wish I could get a few without paying more for ship than the soap costs!

La Toja shave stick is my travel soap, but it's good enough that I shouldn't reserve it just for travel.
