Yes, I do find the D.R.Harris creams exceptional.

I have been using DR Harris Arlington this week for my daily shaves. The results have been better but it really takes a long time loading the brush compared to other hard soaps I have. So yes, a bit of operator error on my part in not loading it longer.

What type of brush are you using?
Only an hour ago a picked up An Almond Dr Harris soap. I love new stuff.
Just used DR Harris Windsor for my Thanksgiving shave.
I agree that it does take a little longer to load the brush but...
It still remains on my top tier of soaps for its performance, and especially scent.
The scent of the Windsor is a lot like Castle Forbes 1445.

D.R. Harris, it's very good stuff I love the Coconut.
Their "Almond" is one of my favourite soaps. Don't be fooled by the name, in terms of the scent, it's the same as their "29" line ( https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/...ine-41268.html ): a light scent of "rose geranium, cinnamon, and clove".
Just received my first D.R.Harris soap yesterday. Windsor scent in the mahogany bowl. Loaded a little warm water onto the top of the puck whilst I showered and then drained the water out and using a damp badger brush loaded the brush. It was super easy to load and after a few swirls I moved over to my lathering bowl. Built a good lather and added a few extra drops of water as I went. Smell was great, very slick on my face over three passes. Had a very close shave and skin was super soft afterwards.
Will definitely purchase the refill puck once this one runs out. If you’re on the fence about this soap IMO just go for it.
Dr Harris is always instock at my place
