CBL Tonsorial

I've been using CBL Tonsorial 'Roasted Oatmeal Stout' for a week now. This simple soap easily makes a great lather and the tonsorial base is purported to be a clone of 'Vintage Williams'. I've never tried vintage Williams so I can't make a judgement as to that, but others have said that it compares favorably.

The scent is simply scrumptious, like fresh baked oatmeal cookies. The second ingredient listed is Guenness Extra Stout.

Just got a more than generous sample of the soap in the mail from my friend Victor.

I'll tell ya....when I opened the envelope I wanted to slather it all over my face and take a bite out of it.
The scent is absolutely killer!!

Can't wait till tomorrow's shave.

Just had my first shave with the Roasted Oatmeal Stout sample.

Put 4 small pieces in the bottom of the Suribachi bowl and pressed them in.

Whipped up a wonderfully thick, creamy, slick luxurious lather that performed beautifully.
The scent is absolutely intoxicating.

For $10.00 this is no less than a home run...
So much so that I just ordered 2 on their website.

When I first looked on their site, about a week ago, this soap wasn't available so I'm thinking it might be a limited edition.
Get 'em while you can.
