Beaudelaire by Barrister and Mann

Currently addicted to this scent. B&M's soap bases are phenomenal, so when I saw this scent pop up on WCS for black friday I thought I'd give it a try. I got a couple other soap/aftershave combos that I haven't opened yet too. But the Beaudelaire is definitely on the favorites list already. When I cracked it open for the sniff test I wasn't sure about it, but after a shave and a couple hours to sit with it, I came around. It's one of those dusky old cologne scents, so it's not "light" by any means. But if musky, leathery, sandalwood and dark scents are up your alley you owe it a try. The aftershave is absolutely essential with this one, by the way. I won't pretend that I know what I'm talking about here, but it smells slightly different than the soap and kind of kicks it up a notch if you will. Also, the lady friend seems to really enjoy it haha. So that's nice too.
