How do you keep shaving cream warm when you're shaving?
If you lather in a bowl or mug you can run hot water in the sink and let the mug sit in the hot water and it keeps it toasty warm. I used to run hot hot water in the sink then submerge my shaving mug(empty) into the water while I showered. When I got down showering the mug was warm, then I made my lather and set it back in the hot water to keep it warm throught the shave.
I have a small bowl I use to build my lather. The other day I found a Latte mug at the grocery store ($3) and the small bowl fits nicely on top of the Latte mug. I fill the bowl and mug with hot tap water and let it sit with my brush in the mug to warm up (1-2 min). I empty the bowl, get some soap on the tip of my brush (after I've flicked the excess water), and work up a nice lather. I empty the Latte mug and refill it with hot tap water. I place the bowl on top of the mug and leave the brush in the bowl. Lather and brush remain warm throughout my shave.

I use a Dirty Bird Scuttle, best thing for me
I use a scuttle from Georgetown Pottery. I have one of the older varients, which does not have a full jacket (it does not extend under the inner bowl), but it works quite well.
Before I was given the scuttle, I used to use a latte mug partially submerged in hot water in my sink, as Huskysibe has described above.
